Announcements: Site Under Construction
Users who use Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox without the Adblock add-on will see Google Adsense ads. Just so you know I did not put them there. Wetpaint put the ads there to offset the cost of bandwidth and hosting in order to provide this site for free. I can pay them to get the ads removed but with the goals in mind, especially with monthly visitors, for TalentSwamp it will cost me an arm and a leg to do that. If you are bugged by the ads and feel the page is cluttered you can download Firefox from this link

What is TalentSwamp:
TalentSwamp is a community website where users post links to quality and accurate video tutorials. There are too many video sharing websites out there and finding a quality video can sometimes seem to be very tedious. The users of TalentSwamp volunteer to post links for those who want to learn. In a way we want to replicate what Wikipedia did for free information sharing but with video tutorials.
A few of the sites I would strongly recommend for linking videos are:
Rules:
Goal#1: Have a comprehensive list of products in each category. For the time being we will concentrate only on 4 categories - operating system, softwares, videos games and web applications.
Goal#2: Have a comprehensive Table of Contents for each products. We want our users to have access to a complete and up to date library of product video tutorials.
Goal#3: Have completed videos and links to all the Table of Content materials.
Goal#4: By the end of 2012 become the largest tutorial site on the web. We want to follow a growth comparable to Wikipedia.

Rules:
- Please do not link any illegal, copyrighted, adult or inappropriate videos to the links. This is where everybody comes to learn so it would be helpful if we keep this site clean.
- Please make sure the quality of the videos are good. Quality over quantity!
- Please make sure that you make things easier for the moderators to maintain this site (i.e. no flaming, racial or sexist comments in the discussions, posting videos in the wrong section or vandalizing the contents of this site) As mentioned before our goal is to become the largest tutorial site on the web and that can only be achieved with your help.
